An accomplice of Emily Cruickshank, Rosa El Goto, a 20-year-old South Florida native who was driving home with Emily and her other girlfriends after partying in Key West. Emily had been drinking underage and had drugs supplied by her friend Rosa in her system. When driving back up to the Florida mainland late at night on U.S. Route 1 / The Overseas Highway northbound. On exiting Bahia Honda Key, Emily drove her 2026 SUV over the guard rail and jumped the bridge of the Ohio Bahia Honda Channel at a very high rate of speed and ended up in the water. Emily and her front-seat passenger, Rosa, were able to escape the sinking car, but her other three girlfriends in her back seat were killed. Emily and Rosa were taken into custody by the County Sheriff’s Officers. Rosa was arrested on three counts of capital murder for supplying drugs to her friend Emily Cruickshank. Both Rosa El Goto and Emily Cruickshank are currently incarcerated in southern Florida, awaiting trial. Both are facing additional charges as they await their trials.
