Emily is a 19-year-old South Florida native who was driving home with her girlfriends after partying in Key West. Emily was drinking underage and had drugs supplied by her friend in her system. When driving back up to the Florida mainland late at night on U.S. Route 1 / The Overseas Highway northbound. On exiting Bahia Honda Key, Emily drove her 2026 SUV over the guard rail and jumped the bridge of the Ohio Bahia Honda Channel at a very high rate of speed and ended up in the water. Emily and her front-seat passenger were able to escape the sinking car, but her three girlfriends in her back seat were killed. Emily was taken into custody by the County Sheriff’s Officers. Emily is currently incarcerated in southern Florida, awaiting trial. She has been charged with three counts of capital murder and more charges are pending as she awaits her trial.
