On this day, Ms. Marta Effler and Ms. Orlane Galbon appeared before us, the Special Tribunal, accused of murder via terrorist acts that resulted in the deaths of fifteen subjects of the Kingdom and five children.
As it emerged during the trial that the explosive device causing these tragedies was originally intended to kill our Queen, we have reclassified the charge and hereby declare the accused guilty of regicide and terrorism.
Consequently,
We, judges by the grace of the Queen,
Declare the accused
Guilty of regicide and terrorism;
And hereby
Sentence the women Marta Effler and Orlane Galbon
To banishment and death.
We order that, on the appointed day,
They be led—
Clad in the livery of infamy—
Outside the walls,
There to receive twenty-five lashes
And be branded with the mark of regicides,
Before being nailed to the cross
As is the custom for infamous women,
And raised facing the palace ramparts
Until death ensues.
The condemned shall be taken forthwith to the fortress and held in strict confinement pending the day of their execution.
