Trial and Judgment of Princess Stella Sobieski

Published on October 6, 2026 | By: angelique

Princess Sobieski appeared before the tribunal two days after her arrest.

Seated on the stool of the accused facing the judge, she answered the judges' questions at length and with sincerity; there was no need to subject her to torture.

The princess admitted to organizing sapphic gatherings at her palace, during which she distributed erotic potions of her own making.

When confronted with her maidservant, both acknowledged they were lovers, though the princess declared herself the one who had corrupted her accomplice.

Conviction of Stella Sobieski

For having concocted potions, Princess Sobieski is found guilty of witchcraft.

For her sapphic practices, contrary to our dogma, she is adjudged a heretic.

And for these crimes, she is deemed unworthy of her noble titles, stripped of rank, and cast down to the status of a common woman.

Consequently, and for the sake of atonement,

We deliver her to the secular arm,

To be consigned alive to the purifying flames of the stake,

Having first been granted the opportunity to confess her crimes

Upon the steps of the temple.

The procedures shall be carried out in accordance with the dictates of the secular arm.

Pending their execution,

The condemned woman shall be confined in the dungeons of Ariana,

As is fitting for women of her ilk.
