Prisoner Judith Mertens born in Germany on the 6th of July 1974 was executed under warrant in this prison at 8am this morning the 7th of September 2026.
The prisoner was executed by a new method of judicial hanging reserved for more serious offenders. The prisoner was hung for 15 minutes and then her neck was broken by vertebral dislocation.
